This Gambrel-Style Barn was built from a photo provided to our office by a client. She had been traveling back East and fell in love with this old barn. She wanted one exactly like the photo...but instead of it being 100 years old, she wanted it to just look that way.

It was constructed with wood siding with a hay door and loft. This client chose a composition shingle roof instead of having a truly authentic wood shingle roof. Knowing what her priorities were in a building enabled her to be design flexible and allowed her to get more in a post frame project without having to sacrifice style and function.
